o: day two of free oils!

i think another name for new years day should be "most productive day of the year".  i woke up with my game face on, and knocked out a ton of things on my business to-do list.  the house was a disaster after christmas and being gone for almost a week, with clothes everywhere and dishes filling the sink.  with all the stuff i got done yesterday morning, i had zero intentions of tackling the mess until monday, but jon came to me and said....let's team up and clean like crazy. umm what? beautiful words coming from the mouth of a hubby. so we went on a cleaning frenzy! all the decorations are down, downstairs is spotless (even cleaned the OUTSIDE of the windows) and laundry is done.  feels so good. we then even went on a family walk/run.  and tomorrow starts round 2 of the 21 days fix. feeling GOOD!

ok now for the oil giveaway.  yesterday's grapefruit oil got snatched up by Tracy Bishop! Congrats Tracy! I tried to post the video in the comments but it only lets me post pix, so i'll try to put it in the post with this blog link.

today's oil is what we call the "swiss army knife of essential oils".  lavender. 

the uses are endless!  most people know of lavender as being a relaxer/sleep aid.  it is! but it does SO much more.  my top 3 uses are:
-adding a drop to my shampoo and mascara to promote hair growth and strength
-rubbing a drop down the bridge of your nose when its stuffy to stop the boogies
-easing discomfort on the skin from a burn, rash or dryness

one of my resolutions this year is to write more blog posts, so here i am.

i have a long list of goals this year, and one of those goals is to help even more people discover the amazing world of essential oils than i did last year.  it's been amazing to watch people naturally take charge of their health, including myself. i want to step it up even MORE.

I find myself typing up the same info over and over to people who ask me about how Young Living's Essential Rewards program works, so I figured I would just type it all out here as a reference page.

Ok, so you've ordered your Premium Starter Kit.  When it arrived at your door, you got really excited and started opening all your boxes.  Excitement turned in to a slight feeling of being overwhelmed.  BUT, you pushed through those feelings, jumped right in started using your oils.  All the while, you're dropping in to the Apothecary Society FB page to browse posts and educate yourself more.  NOW, you're not only familiar and happy with your starter kit oils, but you want MORE.  The struggle is real my friends.

I usually tell people to send me a message when they are thinking about making their first "after-kit" order so i can go over the details of this awesome program.

I hate the word auto-ship because other companies have given it such a negative connotation.  YL's ER program is indeed an auto-ship, however there is no pressure or obligation/penalties if you need to stop it at any time.  You would just want to make sure you redeem any points you have before you cancel.

Let me back up. Ok, so your oil wishlist is growing and you wanna slowly start building your collection.  With Essential Rewards, you pick which day you want your order to process each month.  For me, its the 1st of the month.  Others choose to wait until mid or even the end of the month.  Your choice.  The nice thing too, is that you can process your order early if you need it before your scheduled date.

You have to spend a minimum of 50pv (roughly $50) monthly.  You can go into your account and edit your order as many times as you want throughout the month, up until about 10/11pm on the night your order is scheduled to process.  I edit mine about 879546273 times a month before i decide on what i for sure want. Other huge perk? Cheaper shipping.  This is the only way to get the cheapest shipping that YL offers.

Rewards.  For every ER order (one per month) you earn a % back in rewards.  It starts at 10% and increases to 20% after a year.  So if your order is 150pv, that's 15pv back to you.  I let my rewards add up so I can get multiple (or more expensive oils) at once.

Now let's say you want to place a large order one month.  OR....you get some friends to order a few singles from you with your wholesale discount to add to your order.  Once you hit 190pv, 250pv and 300pv you start earning promos on top of those reward points.  For example, at 190pv this month (September), you get a FREE 15ml bottle of Tangerine EO, a 5ml bottle of Lemon EO and a 5ml bottle of AromaEase.  That's a $55 value, for free. Say you really wanna go big and put in an order of 250pv.  Now you get a free bottle of Mineral Essence on TOP of all of the 190pv rewards.  And now let's talk about baller status.  A 300pv order.  This month you would get an EXTRA 10% back in rewards PLUS the 250pv rewards AND 190pv rewards.  That's a $142 value.  Yes please.  The promos change every month too!

One thing I love about this company is that they have the best customer service.  If any of this gets confusing, you can of course ask me, but you can also call up CS and they will help you with anything.
